  • Q: When is this flushing kit needed?
  • A: You need to manually flush the nozzle and return line when the printhead is severely clogged, print quality is poor (characterized by broken lines or skewed text), or when restarting the printer after a prolonged period of inactivity.
  • Q: Can I simply use a standard syringe as a substitute?
  • A: We do not recommend this. The connector on the EPT025259 (Type D) is a quick-release interface specifically designed for the AX series; standard syringes cannot form a tight seal. Using a standard syringe risks solvent splashing onto and damaging the circuit board, or failing to achieve effective cleaning due to insufficient pressure.
  • Q: What liquid should be used for flushing?
  • A: You must use the specific *Make-up* (solvent) that corresponds to the ink model currently loaded in the machine. Never use water, alcohol, or other general-purpose chemicals, as doing so may damage the ink delivery system.
  • Q: How can I determine if the flushing was successful?
  • A: The flushing process is complete when the flushing fluid flows smoothly and vertically out of the nozzle orifice, without any noticeable deviation or scattering.
  • Q: Is this a consumable item or a reusable tool?
  • A: This is a reusable tool. After use, we recommend cleaning the interior of the tool with fresh solvent and allowing it to air-dry before storing.
  • Q: What safety precautions should be observed during operation?
  • A: Since the flushing process involves volatile solvents, you must wear safety goggles and gloves during operation. Please perform the procedure in a well-ventilated area to prevent solvent contact with your eyes or skin.
